Car rental in JB starts at RM135 a day for a Perodua Axia. Sedans start at RM140 for a Proton Saga or Perodua Bezza, and RM250 for a Honda City or Toyota Vios. Seven-seater MPVs start at RM260. The nine-seater Hyundai Staria is RM580 and the Toyota Alphard is RM730.

The most affordable options in our Johor car rental fleet are the Perodua Axia (from RM135/day), Proton Saga (from RM140/day), and Perodua Bezza (from RM140/day). All three are automatic, air-conditioned, and suitable for up to 4 or 5 passengers for city driving and short regional trips.

You will need three documents: a valid MyKad or passport, a valid Malaysian driving licence or international driving permit (IDP), and the credit or debit card used for the booking. Singapore residents holding a valid Singapore driving licence are welcome to rent. If you hold an overseas licence from outside Singapore, please contact us before booking to confirm eligibility.

Yes, a refundable security deposit is collected at vehicle pickup by credit or debit card. The deposit amount varies by vehicle category and is shown during the booking process. It is returned within 7 working days after the vehicle is returned in its original condition with no new damage.

You can purchase additional insurance directly from our website under “Liability Reduction Option (LRO)”. Purchasing insurance is optional, but we highly recommend you to do so.

Do not attempt repairs independently or engage a third-party mechanic without contacting us first, as this may affect your insurance coverage.

Yes. JohorBook supports one-way rentals with pickup at Senai International Airport (JHB) and return at a different location, including cities outside Johor. A one-way fee applies and must be confirmed at the time of booking. Select "Return to another location" in the booking form to see available drop-off points and applicable fees.

Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup. Fuel type varies by vehicle - most of our fleet runs on petrol, while the Hyundai Staria uses diesel. Fuel type is specified on each vehicle listing. If you return with a lower fuel level, the difference will be deducted from your security deposit.

Every vehicle in the fleet is under five years old. Each car is serviced before it goes out on a rental.

Yes. Pickup and return run 24 hours at our JB locations. The causeway does not keep office hours, so neither do we.
